Damián Rosenthal and Vanessa Fatauros
(Argentina) An extraordinary couple, not just incredible dancers but lovely, accesible people and fantastic teachers at the same time. The elegant style and personality of Vanessa is fascinating! :) She spent great time of her life in Buenos Aires where she studied with the best masters and she was also teaching as well as performing in various prestigous events and schools. She was invited to several countries all around the world already back then. Damián was among the first dancers, moving to Europe in the '90-s, who brought the results of those revolutionary changes that tango went through, and that is irreversably part of the way how we see tango now. He also actively participated in this "revolution", and they - together with Vanessa - now are outstanding figures of the world's tango scene. Their work is mainly based on a foundation of more traditional structure incorporating new elements and dynamics that enrich their dance. They have participated several times of the prestigious CITA in Buenos Aires and numerous workshops, festivals and exhibitions in Buenos Aires and Europe. |

Lucas Molina Gazcón and Judit Somos
(Argentina-Hungary) The Argentine Lucas, son of a family of artists and dancers, started to dance at the age of 12 with his sister Monica Molina Gazcon in Buenos Aires. He was trained by the most renowned masters and he won numerous competitions. He was invited to Europe, the U.S. and China, performed in some of the most famous tango movies, like the cultic 'The Tango Lesson'. Judit, born in Budapest, was trained in a country where tango has just appeared, in a continent conquered by this dance but still far from its origins. Driven by her passion for the dance, she has been visiting Buenos Aires over and over again. In Budapest she got opportunities to perform at such prominent venues as the National Dance Theatre or the Opera House. She founded her own school, and was touring around Europe for a couple of years. Together with Lucas they have been teaching performing at several prestigious events (as the CITA and El Yeite Tango Festival) in Argentina and throughout Europe. |
